All eyes were watching as Trayvon Martin’s killer finally made his first court appearance 45 days after Trayvon Martin’s death. His first court appearance made breaking international news as Canada and other countries weighed in on the case. When asked about the hatred surrounding the Trayvon Martin case, she replied that this case is not about hatred but about an outcry for justice. The road to justice began on April 12, 2012 for Trayvon Martin.
Bringing George Zimmerman,the killer of Trayvon Martin, to appear and answer charges on the 2nd degree murder charge is the first hurdle among many to come in seeing Zimmerman stand trial for the murder of Trayvon Martin. He will be arraigned on May 29, 2012. Motions will be filed by the defense for his bail release. Other motions may also be filed by the defense, pending his arraignment.
