It already lost days ago. The State has to prove BARD that it wasn’t self defense. The State’s has been disproving their own case. You ask about Trayvon being on trial as well as Zimmerman. Given the physical and eye witness evidence of self defense, yes. Given the false narrative of of George Zimmerman being a white racest and baseless “hunted him down like a dog” claims, yes. Given this is a self defense case, Trayvon’s drug use, violence, theft arrests, and evidence of violating federal gun control laws on his phone should be admitted.

Why is it that when there are those that are so quick to condemn Trayvon ignore the fact that Zimmerman was charged with assaulting an officer of the law and domestic violence? Why do they ignore Zimmerman’s cousin that has accused him of molesting her for years? This isn’t violence? Wait, forgot. Conservatives have their own grid for what’s considered rape and violence.

I think the screams also have circumstantial evidence supporting the Martins.
Zimmerman claimed blood running down his throat (involuntary gagging on your back would occur), he claimed being smothered (but the scream was louder and more pronounced as it went on), and finally, it punctuates at the shot exactly. This would hurt the defenses assertion that he was still moving and still a threat and yet also, did not know he hit him.
When I heard the scream the first time, the punctuation at the shot was the most compelling aspect of “who it was”. I know if I heard that scream in my neighborhood and it was immediately silenced by a shot. I would definitely conclude that the one who screamed was shot and it was a murder.
Hopefully the women deliberating can see the same common logic and the circumstantial aspect of the screams.
